Over the years, the phrase Hair By Harry became the phrase most often used by Harry's salon clients who have affectionately shared their pleasurable experience with others.

"Oh, I love your hair."

"Well, it IS Hair By Harry and we always have
such a nice visit... Harry LISTENS, you know."

This phrase has often been used in regards to hair cuts, styles, color, perms AND the "fix-ups" -- where Harry listened and fixed what others had done to a client. Harry Logan has extensive experience in fixing those home based color and perm disasters, the errors made by other stylists, and yes -- even fixing some of the big name egotistical stylists' bad-hair-day cut, color & perm disasters.

Harry Logan allowed this rather revealing phrase to be borrowed and used for a hair informational web site.

More tidbits about Harry and his artistry:

• Harry is licensed in PA as a Teacher (the highest state license for cosmetologists) and is also professionally licensed in the state of Arizona.
• Harry grew up in Butler PA, lived in Pittsburgh for many years, lived in Arizona for 6 years, & returned to PA 5 years ago and resides in Cranberry Township.
• Has a life partner of over 26 YEARS and 2 miniature schnauzers who aren't spoiled (much) -- well, ok; the truth is they ARE spoiled; they get free haircuts and the dogs have more toys than most children.
• Harry began his hair career as the Cutting and Styling Director & Competition Coach at one of the branches of what used to be the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.
• Harry was a Paul Mitchell Advisor and Trainer. (He also, many moons ago, was an educator of Oggi International and for Sebastian International -- educating large chain salon stylists and managers on product & styling tips.)
• One of Harry's specialties was experience and expertise in working with the hair needs of cancer survivor clients; having worked with patients of UPMC, the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic.
• Has almost 30 years of "behind the chair" hair experience, winning awards from Clairol in hair color and as an Outstanding Teacher.
• Has done hair cutting & styling platform work for Sebastian International and the Pennsylvania Hair Fashion Committee (a PA professional organization).
• Harry has been an Emcee, a competition Judge, a Platform Artist, and a Wise Person of the PA State Hair Show.
• Harry also managed two department store based Salon & Day Spas for JC Penney whose revenues exceeded $1,000,000. While at JC Penney (Ross Park, Butler & Mesa AZ), Harry won multi-year ALL STAR and Customer Service awards.

Because "Harry the Stylist" loves working with people and continues his artistic talents in another creative arena -- one that started out as a hobby that he enjoyed and came to love many moons ago.
